WHAT WE LOVE

Japanese brand Nepenthes is located in an unassuming storefront in New York's Garment District. The brand was established in 1988 by Keizo Shimizu who was later joined by designer Daiki Suzuki of Engineered Garments fame. Nepenthes with stores in Japan, London and New York has gained a loyal following for their carefully edited collection of labels.

Nepenthes, New York opened in 2010, expanding its footprint in 2021, and offers both men's and women's clothing, accessories, and footwear. The shop also hosts pop-ups and showcases art exhibitions.
