WHAT WE LOVE

A Copenhagen townhouse is home to Stilleben, a brand that features a carefully curated mix of handmade ceramics and glassware, one-of-a-kind products, textiles, furniture, and art. The namesake brand offers tableware, textiles, and art prints.

Founded in 2002 by Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft, product designers who both studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in glass and ceramics. Their shared passion for good craftsmanship and eclectic objects has been part of Stilleben since the very beginning.

The name Stilleben is a German art concept referring to a work of art depicting mostly inanimate objects - often in table settings.
